Julián Alfredo Riaño Ojeda is a dancer, teacher, and stage creator with more than twenty years of experience in the performing arts. His background in dance, theater, and pedagogy has shaped a sensitive, rigorous, and creative vision of tango and artistic education. As a performer and choreographer, he has developed original works and participated in national and international festivals in countries such as Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Greece, Serbia, and most recently in Barcelona. His interpretation of tango is marked by expressive intensity, technical precision, and a movement language that balances emotion, improvisation, and poetic form. He has been recognized by the Culture of Medellín secretary in 2024 and 2025 for his contribution to dance. He directs Freetango, a company dedicated to artistic creation and works as a producer. Miguel Ortega

For over three decades, tango has been my life. As a master, dancer, actor, and choreographer, I have 35+ years in teaching and 30 in dance. My foundation lies in a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts (Dance & Theatre), always integrating technique, emotion, and interpretation. My tango journey began in Medellín in 1991. Moving to Bogotá in 1998, I was privileged to teach at El Café de Buenos Aires and co-found the city's first milonguero space (2000–2008). In 2013, I launched the ANGELICAL DANCE project, creating the MILONGA ANGELICAL magical hub for dancers, musicians, and tango lovers, featuring shows and taxi dancers. Tango is my school and home, bridging art and emotion. I aim to share this energy and history with you at the festival, so we can continue celebrating life to the rhythm of the 2x4.

Julián is a Colombian dancer who, since the age of eight, has found in tango a passion and a heritage that runs through his veins. His childhood was shaped by a family legacy that, generation after generation, has devoted its life to dance. With more than 19 years of experience, he travels the world proudly bringing Colombian tango to festivals, theaters, and stages, where his dance becomes a cultural bridge that connects emotions, identities, and generations. His talent has also shone at home, being a nine-time champion in Colombia (2008–2022), fifth place at the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires (2017), and champion in Quito, Ecuador (2016). Currently, he teaches tango in several Asian countries, adapting his method to multicultural contexts and promoting this dance as an artistic and cultural bridge.

Colombian dancer and instructor with 15 years of experience in dance, and National Tango de Pista Champion 2022. Teacher, choreographer, and professional ballroom dancer with over 30 years of experience in the field of tango dance. He has participated in numerous national and international dance shows, sharing the stage with Miguel Angel Zotto and Soledad Rivero. He has won several national champions in the ballroom and stage tango categories. He won fifth place at the 2004 World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the ballroom tango category. Ninth place at the 2005 World Tango Championships in the stage tango category. He has served as a judge for dance competitions in Cali and Manizales. He coaches dance couples in the city. Jhonatan García is a Colombian professional dancer with 24 years of experience. His artistic journey began at age 10 as a salsa soloist and later expanded to ballet, contemporary dance, tango, and Caribbean rhythms. Since discovering tango in 2001, he has represented Colombia at festivals such as ValparaTango (Chile), Perú es Tango (Lima), and TangoDoBrazil (Brazil), as well as on tours across Mexico and the United States, offering workshops and performances. He has been part of renowned companies including AstroTango, Tango Embrujo, Tango Vivo, and ApuroTango. As assistant choreographer, he contributed to productions like Morfosis: The History of Tango and The Fifth Element. Twice a finalist at the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires, he has also performed aboard Regent Seven Seas and Oceania Cruises. Classes are taught in couple by Diana Díaz and Jhonatan García.

For over three decades, tango has been my life. As a master, dancer, actor, and choreographer, I have 35+ years in teaching and 30 in dance. My foundation lies in a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts (Dance & Theatre), always integrating technique, emotion, and interpretation. My tango journey began in Medellín in 1991. Moving to Bogotá in 1998, I was privileged to teach at El Café de Buenos Aires and co-found the city's first milonguero space (2000–2008). In 2013, I launched the ANGELICAL DANCE project, creating the MILONGA ANGELICAL magical hub for dancers, musicians, and tango lovers, featuring shows and taxi dancers. Tango is my school and home, bridging art and emotion. I aim to share this energy and history with you at the festival, so we can continue celebrating life to the rhythm of the 2x4.

Julián is a Colombian dancer who, since the age of eight, has found in tango a passion and a heritage that runs through his veins. His childhood was shaped by a family legacy that, generation after generation, has devoted its life to dance. With more than 19 years of experience, he travels the world proudly bringing Colombian tango to festivals, theaters, and stages, where his dance becomes a cultural bridge that connects emotions, identities, and generations. Jhonatan García is a Colombian professional dancer with 24 years of experience. His artistic journey began at age 10 as a salsa soloist and later expanded to ballet, contemporary dance, tango, and Caribbean rhythms. Since discovering tango in 2001, he has represented Colombia at festivals such as ValparaTango (Chile), Perú es Tango (Lima), and TangoDoBrazil (Brazil), as well as on tours across Mexico and the United States, offering workshops and performances. He has been part of renowned companies including AstroTango, Tango Embrujo, Tango Vivo, and ApuroTango. As assistant choreographer, he contributed to productions like Morfosis: The History of Tango and The Fifth Element. I have devoted 40 years to tango. My parents are excellent dancers of the Argentinian Melody. My father was a shoe manufacturer, and for that reason I keep the love for tango, and for shoemaking, deep inside.

NATHALI ALONDRA LOPEZ CORREA

My passion for dancing began more than 20 years ago. I started dancing professionally and participated in various competitions, winning the Tangovia Feria de Manizales, among others. In recent years, I have devoted myself more to being a milonguera, to social dancing and enjoying it immensely.

Tango, Colombian folklore, and salsa dancer. I have been participating in milongas, workshops, and cultural events centered around tango for 15 years. I also competed in the 2025 Milonguero Championship organized by the Danzango Academy.

Cristhian Mauricio López Parra

Teacher, choreographer, and professional ballroom dancer with over 30 years of experience in the field of tango dance. He has participated in numerous national and international dance shows, sharing the stage with Miguel Angel Zotto and Soledad Rivero. He has won several national champions in the ballroom and stage tango categories. He won fifth place at the 2004 World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the ballroom tango category. Ninth place at the 2005 World Tango Championships in the stage tango category. He has served as a judge for dance competitions in Cali and Manizales. He coaches dance couples in the city. As a choreographer, he has achieved podium positions. He has performed dance exhibitions with renowned figures such as Diana Giraldo, World Tango Champion, Ornella Simonetto, and Analia Centurión. He currently runs his own dance school in Cali: Dinastía Caleña, a school for dancers.

Juan Felipe Franky

With more than 15 years of experience in the world of dance, I’ve had the privilege of being part of renowned companies such as Soho and El Desbande. My passion for tango led me to Argentina, where I had the opportunity to study with the renowned Olga Becio. Throughout my career, I’ve shared my knowledge as a teacher at institutions such as Idartes and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. I’m currently continuing to refine my art alongside maestro John Galindo.

Claudia giraldo

My name is Claudia Giraldo. I have been dedicated to tango for eight years, a journey that has taken me to study and refine my dance in Buenos Aires on two occasions. I have just returned from an intensive period of practice and training there. In 2019, I won the Amateur Tango de Salón Championship at the Manizales Fair, and I currently teach at the University of Caldas and at La Calle del Tango. Tango is my way of life a bridge between art, emotion, and culture.
